The Asia Pacific Loan Market Association (APLMA) recently named the winners of its Asia Pacific Syndicated Loan Awards.

ANZ was awarded Syndicated Loan House of the Year – Australia, and Syndicated Loan House of the Year – New Zealand, reflecting the bank’s dominance in its home markets. According to Bloomberg, ANZ was ranked #1 in the mandated lead arranger for Australia and New Zealand loans league table with over 14% market share in 2017.

The APLMA awards are judged by market participants, including peer banks, lawyers and non-bank investors.

Christina Tonkin, Managing Director of Loans and Specialised Finance at ANZ, commented: “These award wins are a testament to the breadth and the depth of our product capabilities at ANZ, as well as the hard work of our teams.
