Our team of professionals in Dubai is part of a global network represented in close to 30 markets globally. As well as our established presence in Australia and New Zealand, we have a long standing on-the-ground presence in Europe and Asia with in-depth experience at supporting customers’ trade flows globally.

From our Dubai Office, we provide relationship coverage of Financial Institutions and Corporates with arranging capabilities in the areas detailed below.

 

Financial Institutions Group, Middle East

ANZ’s Financial Institutions Group in the Middle East, based out of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) provides relationship coverage of Commercial Banks, Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Insurance Companies in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region with arranging capabilities in the following key areas:

  • Transaction Banking Services for  Financial Institution Clients including AUD and NZD Clearing Services, Trade Flow and Trade Financing Services, Partner Bank arrangements,  One-stop Guarantee Services
  • Loans to Financial Institutions - selective and strategic syndicated, club and bilateral loan facilities to key relationship banks
  • Debt Capital Markets: US Dollar, Australian Dollar, New Zealand Dollar and various Asian Currency Bond issuances for leading financial institutions from the Middle East
  • Global Markets: Flow and Structured Products in FX, Credit, Rates and Commodities
  • Strategic Advisory,  Asset Backed Financing, Markets and Transaction Banking Services for Sovereign Wealth Funds and Key Investor clients looking to invest in Australia, New Zealand and Asia, with a proven track record and focus on  Infrastructure, Utilities and Property sectors.

 

Corporate Banking, Middle East

ANZ’s Institutional Banking Group in the Middle East, based out of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) provides Relationship Coverage for selective clients in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region with arranging capabilities in the following key areas:

  • Structured Finance Facilities including Debt Financing for Operating and Financial Leases and Structured Export Finance transactions for selective sovereign and network clients. Project Finance facilities with a focus on Oil & Gas and Renewables.
  • Secured and Unsecured Lending to Institutional Clients – syndicated, club and bilateral loan and revolving credit facilities for our key institutional clients in the Middle East as well as financing their investments into Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
  • Global Markets: Flow and Structured Products in FX, Rates and Commodities.
  • Payments & Cash Management, Guarantees and Trade Services for our clients’ requirements in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
  • Debt Capital Markets: Bond issuances for selective Sovereign Owned Entities from the GCC countries.
  • Strategic Advisory, Asset Backed Financing, Markets and Transaction Banking Services for Sovereign Entities from the GCC countries looking to invest into Australia, New Zealand and Asia, with a focus on  Infrastructure, Utilities, Renewables and Property sectors.
